Melanie Matar

Melanie is A Better Chicago’s manager of development. In this role, she manages a growing portfolio of donors and helps drive overall donor engagement strategy and analytics. Before joining the A Better Chicago team in 2019, Melanie was a senior consultant in Deloitte’s Business Risk Advisory practice. At Deloitte, she also served as the operations and logistics lead for the Deloitte Education Consulting Cooperative. Melanie received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
